This is a superb product. Very well engineered and built. All the components are brass, stainless or plastic, meaning there are no parts to get rusty.
The biggest headache during the installation was getting out the old Moen faucet that had been installed for about 6 years. It was rusty inside and I had to cut the pipes to get it out of the counter hole. A real pain. Installing the Delta, however, was a breeze. Good directions and total time to install was about 20 minutes. Once thing the directions do not tell you is to cut the ends off the plastic water pipes before attaching to the water sources.
My wife was always complaining about the Moen--too hard to remove the spray handle to clean out our double sink. The Delta is much easier to use.
The color of the Delta has a blue tint and it does contrast with stainless and brushed nickel items you may have installed at your sink. We have all three now and my wife (an artist) has no issue with the colors!
Twelve years ago I swore off Delta products and went to Moen. Now, the reverse is true. This item is a great value and you will not be sorry if you get one!
This is a beautiful faucet. When looking for a new faucet during my kitchen remodel I knew I wanted a pull down style. It wasn't until I saw this faucet that I realized how ugly other pull down faucets are, they look like shower heads. This one is very sleek and the pull down is integrated so well, it has a very modern look.
The faucet functions great as well. There is a great positive click when returning the pull down to the faucet. The button to switch from a stream to a spray is located in the back of the pull down section. My only complaint is that switching between the stream and spray does not have as noticeable of a click when switching between the two as the magnetic click, but it still works well.
If you want a sleek modern look and great function as well, this faucet is for you.
